How crypticapay works.
What is crypticapay?+
crypticapay is a non-custodial payment coordination system. It creates payment requests, observes supported blockchains, matches incoming payments, and updates payment status while funds move directly to a wallet you control.
Does crypticapay hold my funds?+
No. crypticapay does not operate a platform balance and does not take custody of customer payments. Funds settle directly from the payer to the wallet address configured by the recipient.
Do I need a website to accept a payment?+
No. You can use a public payment profile, send an invoice, or request payments inside a supported community. Website checkout and API integrations are additional options.
Which assets and networks are supported?+
Support depends on the configured wallet and network. The product interface shows the assets available for each payment request so the payer can choose an accepted option.

Payments & tracking
From request to confirmation.
How does crypticapay match a payment to an invoice?+
Matching follows the selected tracking mode. Basic mode can match by exact requested amount, while Advanced mode can associate payments with reserved invoice destinations and richer payment states.
What are Basic, Advanced, and Hybrid tracking?+
Basic provides exact-amount matching. Advanced provides reservation-based tracking with partial, paid, and overpaid states. Hybrid combines advanced tracking with one selected wallet using basic matching.
What happens when someone pays the wrong amount?+
The invoice remains explicit: a smaller payment can be shown as partial or underpaid, while an amount above the request can be shown as overpaid. Your workflow decides what happens next.
How long does confirmation take?+
Confirmation time varies by blockchain traffic, network behavior, and the confirmation rule configured for the payment. crypticapay separates amount status from confirmation status so both remain clear.
What changes for UTXO wallets?+
Advanced tracking can create multiple or ongoing invoices for compatible UTXO setups and monitor partial, paid, or overpaid outcomes. The exact behavior depends on wallet configuration.

Can I add crypticapay to an online store?+
Yes. Website payments support plugin-led integrations and custom payment flows. Store-specific availability is shown on the website payments page.
How do community payments work?+
A Discord or Telegram bot can create a payment request in chat, watch its status, and trigger a next step such as granting a role or access after confirmation.
What is a payment profile?+
A payment profile is a public page tied to a username. It lets someone find and pay you without asking for a wallet address each time.
Can developers build a custom checkout?+
Yes. The API, webhook events, and SDK-oriented tooling are designed for custom checkout, internal tools, subscriptions, access workflows, and other application-specific payment experiences.

How do credits work?+
Credits cover payment volume or eligible paid actions. The effective rate becomes lower at higher usage tiers, and purchased credits do not expire.
Are subscriptions and credits the same thing?+
No. Subscriptions unlock paid product features. Credits cover usage-based payment activity. This separation keeps recurring access and variable usage easy to understand.
Are blockchain network fees included?+
No. Network fees are paid on-chain and remain separate from crypticapay subscriptions or credit usage.

Does crypticapay need my private keys?+
No. Never share a private key or seed phrase with crypticapay. Payment tracking uses public wallet and blockchain information needed to observe transactions.
What payment information is stored?+
crypticapay may retain wallet addresses, transaction hashes, amounts, timestamps, and account information required to operate and secure the payment-tracking service.
Can crypticapay move or reverse a payment?+
No. crypticapay observes and coordinates payment state; it cannot move funds from your wallet or reverse a completed blockchain transaction.
